"One of the biggest game-changers was when Avida walked me through the process of accessing financial support. I had no idea that family caregivers could get paid in certain situations to help offset the costs of providing care. Avida put me in touch with agencies and programs that I never would have known about otherwise. They made the paperwork side of it so much easier to navigate."
"Just knowing I have Avida in my corner has changed everything for me and my son. I don’t feel alone in this journey anymore. Their caregivers are incredibly kind, and they’re always willing to teach me new techniques or answer my questions, no matter how small. My son has become more active and engaged, because I’m now equipped with better resources and a reliable support system."
Thanks to Avida, I now have a supportive network behind me, better tools for caring for my sister, and a new sense of confidence. My sister is happier, and so am I. If you’re overwhelmed by caregiving responsibilities like I was, don’t hesitate to reach out to Avida—they truly make a difference, one family at a time.”
